Brit Twit: Lah Dee Dah, I'm Victoria Watson, 42, and I CAN COPY LEE CHILD'S BOOKS!

"FOR EBAY: This listing complies with all eBay rules and regulations. The items are in the public domain. No trademarks, copyrights or eBay rules have been violated in this listing. This product fully conforms with eBay compilation and international media policy and downloadable media policy.

This item does not infringe any copyright, trade mark, or other rights or any of eBay's listing policies or spam policies."

So LAH DEEEEEE DAH.

If VICTORIA WATSON says so it MUST be true.

At least, if it involves STEALING FROM LEE CHILD (who is not in public domain) or J.K. ROWLING (who is not in public domain, although Twitter IS her public domain) or R.L. STINE. Or two dozen others.

If VICTORIA WATSON posted an auction for heroin, and said, "This item does not infringe, no laws have been violated," would eBay believe her? OF COURSE NOT. They wouldn't shrug and say, "Gee, maybe heroin is legal now. Let's not ask her for proof."

VICTORIA WATSON is so arrogant and self-entitled, so SURE she's allowed to take the royalties off Lee Child and anyone else, she even uses her name for her EBAY tag. VICTORIA WATSON, born in 1975.

She's old enough to know better.

But she's another idiot who figures copyright is copy WRONG, and if she bought a download (or got one off an illegal torrent or forum) it's HERS to do with AS SHE LIKES. LAAAAAH DEEEEEEEE DAAAAAAH.

She owns ALL these "public domain titles," and more:

There are a lot of VICTORIA WATSONs on eBAY, and their BUY IT NOW, I'VE GOT 10 OF THESE auction ads hang around for weeks and weeks, which tells you that the publishers are NOT paying attention. They are NOT sending takedowns.

They ARE sending the message of, "Go ahead, we're rich, we can ignore this, even if it's happening on the most high-profile auction site on the planet."
